The College, all high schools and work-based trainers will work together

As a young person [14- 16] you will:

  • be treated as a partner in your learning
  • receive a Personal Learning Plan that meets your needs, shows your progress and achievements, sets targets and moves with you
  • get regular feedback on progress and targets
  • have someone to talk to and help with personal and social problems
  • have someone to help you review your studies, set targets and discuss your needs, references and choices
  • get extra help if you are at risk of leaving or need to change course

In return you will:

  • work to the best of your ability
  • attend regularly, on time and not be absent without good reason
  • complete work and hand it in on time
  • wear the type of clothes expected by the learning place
  • respect others and their property
  • respect people's differences in ability, culture, race, religion, age, gender or sexual orientation
  • behave in a way which does not put anyone's safety at risk
  • take care of equipment and facilities
  • accept the code of conduct/practice
